Teynampet constabulary detained 22 persons for allegedly engaging successful amerciable gambling involving immense sums of wealth astatine a backstage edifice successful Teynampet.
The constabulary said the lawsuit was registered astatine Teynampet Police Station nether the Tamil Nadu Gaming Act and applicable sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

The constabulary identified the cardinal accused arsenic Sekar, 66, a make-up creator from Saidapet; Kabir, 44, a existent property businessman from Perumbakkam; Ramesh, 52, a existent property businessman from Chennai and Naganathan, 47, a existent property businessman from T. Nagar, constabulary root said.
Meanwhile, 4 persons were arrested for allegedly engaging successful gambling astatine a vacant tract successful Kodungaiyur. The constabulary seized ₹25,110 successful currency and playing cards from them.
