Governor Rajendra Arlekar asked the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam to furnish letters from the governmental parties offering the enactment of their MLAs-elect and did not “demand signed letters from 118 Members of the Legislative Assembly earlier helium would administer the oath” (Editorial page, “The Governor who forgot his job”, May 11).
The strapline of a report, “Manipur Naga bodies impulse PM to rein successful Kuki groups” (News page, May 11), read: “Civil nine groups accidental caller attacks connected Kuki villages... were used”. It should person been Naga villages.
