The constabulary connected Saturday (November 22, 2025) registered a lawsuit against Perundurai MLA (AIADMK) S. Jayakumar for staging a roadworthy roko that disrupted postulation and caused inconvenience to the nationalist connected Friday nighttime (November 21, 2025).
The MLA led the protestation condemning officials of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) Department for allegedly encroaching upon 30 acres of onshore belonging to the Vijayamangalam Vijayapuri Amman Temple. The agitation took spot adjacent the Vijayamangalam toll-gate.
