The K.K. Nagar Police arrested a 30-year-old pistillate for allegedly stealing golden jewellery from her friend’s house.
Police said Jayalakshmi, 34, a nonmigratory of Arcot Road, K.K. Nagar, recovered that golden jewellery kept successful her location had gone missing connected December 19. The missing items included 2 golden chains, 1 pendant and 1 toed ring. Suspecting theft, she lodged a ailment with the R-7 K.K. Nagar Police Station transgression wing.
On investigation, police arrested her person Monisha, 30, a nonmigratory of Adambakkam and recovered 1 golden concatenation weighing 7.05 grams, 1 pendant, 2 rings and 5 tiny chemoreceptor studs from her.
Investigation revealed that Monisha often visited Jayalakshmi’s house. She had stayed determination astir 2 weeks agone and allegedly stole the golden jewellery.
