Kochi-Salem pipeline project: govt. urged to re-estimate compensation for acquired land

The Kochi-Salem LPG Pipeline Action Council has urged the authorities to re-estimate the compensation provided for the onshore acquired for the Kochi-Salem Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) pipeline project.

In a missive to Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan, the assembly representatives alleged that they were denied just compensation arsenic per the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency successful Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act- 2013, known arsenic the LARR Act.
