A 2013 IAS officer, G. Srijana, was appointed by Telangana Government arsenic the Commissioner of the recently formed Cyberabad Municipal Corporation. Before the caller appointment, she served arsenic Additional Commissioner astatine Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and Commissioner of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Commissioner.
Prior to this, she worked arsenic Collector of NTR and Kurnool districts successful Andhra Pradesh, Commissioner of Andhra Pradesh Industries section and Commissioner of Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation. Ms. Srijana besides served arsenic Joint Collector of Vizag and Sub Collector Vijayawada.
She pursued B.A. successful Psychology astatine St. Ann’s College for Women successful Mehdipatnam and Master of Arts successful Political Science astatine University of Hyderabad.
On Wednesday, Ms. Srijana took complaint arsenic Commissioner of the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation — which has Kukatpally, Serilingampally and Quthbullapur Zones with 16 Circles and 76 Wards. The caller corp was formed aft splitting GHMC into 3 bodies, including Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation and reorganised GHMC.
