The Federation of University Teachers’ Associations and the Kerala University Teachers’ Association connected Wednesday condemned the assignment of Deans successful Kerala University arsenic politically motivated and contrary to assemblage norms.
The teachers’ bodies alleged that the Chancellor’s nominations for the Dean positions were made successful usurpation of established procedures and that qualified elder Professors successful the assemblage were deliberately overlooked. The contentious appointments were made to the faculties of Commerce and Management.
In abstracted statements, the organisations besides stated that the Vice-Chancellor had submitted a biased sheet to the Chancellor to urge individuals with governmental backing portion disregarding world merit.
