Union Minister for Steel and Heavy Industries H. D. Kumaraswamy, accompanied by Union Minister of State for Steel Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma, connected Monday conducted a high-level reappraisal of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, signalling the government’s committedness to its revival and semipermanent growth, according to an authoritative communication.

During a circuit of cardinal facilities, including the Coke Oven Batteries, Wire Rod Mill and Blast Furnace-3, Mr. Kumaraswamy recorded his observations successful the visitor’s book, noting that the works has a strategical roadmap aligned with the nationalist extremity of achieving 300 cardinal tonnes of alloy capableness by 2030 and net-zero emissions by 2070.
