Social media profiles promoting illegal betting apps taken down

The cyber transgression helping of the of Hyderabad constabulary person taken down 124 societal media profiles that were promoting amerciable online betting and gaming platforms done hundreds of paid advertisements targeting Indian users.

Officials said the enactment followed a month-long surveillance and intelligence-based cognition during which investigators identified the profiles moving 539 paid advertisements crossed aggregate societal media platforms. The advertisements promoted assorted online betting and gaming applications and websites.
