AMMK gets new treasurer

The Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK) wide caput T.T.V. Dhinakaran, connected Saturday (June 13, 2026), appointed erstwhile chairperson of the Tambaram section assemblage and caput of the Chengalpattu (East) territory portion M. Karikalan the party’s treasurer.

This followed the defection of the erstwhile treasurer S.K. Selvam, formerly legislator from the Veerapandi Assembly constituency, to the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK).
