Deputy Commissioner H. V. Darshan connected Thursday, said favored shops selling animals and birds should beryllium registered nether the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960.

He was chairing the gathering of Society for Prevention to Cruelty to Animals, Dakshina Kannada District, here. Mr. Darshan noted that lone 2 retired of 20 favored shops operating successful the territory were registered nether the Act.
