Mumbai Mayor writes to Gujarat CM for two pairs of lion

Mumbai Mayor Ritu Tawde has formally requested to Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel to supply 2 pairs of Asiatic lions for the metropolis zoo. 

Mr. Tawade has written a missive connected February 25, urging the Gujarat authorities to facilitate the transportation of 2 antheral and 2 pistillate lions to the Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Botanical Udyan and Zoo besides known arsenic Ranibaug located in Mumbai’s Byculla area.
