Meeting presses for social and economic security of domestic workers

A gathering of home workers held successful Mysuru connected Monday highlighted their problems and urged the authorities to guarantee societal and economical information for them.

The Karnataka State United Domestic Workers’ Union, represented by Mysuru District Committees of All India United Trade Union Centre (AIUTUC) and All India Mahila Sanskritik Sangathan (AIMSS), who convened the meeting, person submitted a petition to the Labour Inspector, Mysuru, seeking fulfillment of their demands including the contiguous mounting up of a Welfare Board for Domestic Workers.
