Mandya DC directs payment of govt.-released subsidy to sugarcane farmers

Instructions were issued for the contiguous disbursal of government-released subsidy to farmers who supplied sugarcane to sweetener factories during the 2025-26 crushing season.

Issuing the directive successful Mandya connected Monday, Deputy Commissioner Kumar, who presided implicit the meeting, said the State authorities had ordered a outgo of ₹50 per tonne arsenic subsidy to farmers, on with an further ₹50 per tonne to beryllium paid by sweetener factories. While the government’s stock has already been released, the factories’ stock remains pending.
