Management consulting roles lead IIM-B’s summer placements; offers in healthcare sector up by 70%

The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) has concluded its summertime placement process for the 2025–27 batch of Post Graduate Programme (PGP) and PGP successful Business Analytics (PGPBA) students, achieving 100% placements for each 601 participants.

A full of 137 companies made offers during the placement week held from October 13 to 18.

This year’s placement play saw grounds participation, with absorption consulting roles accounting for 46% of each offers, up from 38% successful 2024. The healthcare assemblage recorded a 70% emergence successful offers, portion concern banking and e-commerce roles besides saw a notable surge. Nearly 30% of the recruiters participated for the archetypal time, said a release.

Tapas Ranjan Pati, caput of Career Development Services, said that absorption consulting continued to dominate, followed by concern banking, and merchandise management. “Leading planetary recruiters shared highly affirmative feedback connected some the students’ show and the ratio of the wide process. Legacy recruiters from conglomerates, FMCG, and wide absorption domains continued to prosecute successful ample numbers,” helium said.
