Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan volition inaugurate the recently completed Mattancherry and Willingdon Island terminals of the Kochi Water Metro astatine 10 a.m. connected Saturday. Constructed astatine a combined outgo of ₹38 crore, the 2 terminals volition rise the full fig of operational terminals to 12. The 8,000-sq. ft. The 3,000-sq. ft. Willingdon Island terminal, located adjacent the aged ferry jetty, besides mirrors the region’s maritime quality and history. During construction, existing trees and greenery were cautiously preserved, ensuring minimal ecological impact, a property merchandise said.

Mayor M. Anilkumar, Deputy Mayor K.A. Ansia, Hibi Eden, MP, MLAs K.J. Maxi and T.J. Vinod, and Kochi Corporation councillor T. Padmakumari volition code the gathering.
