Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) person and United Democratic Front (UDF) campaigner A.K.M. Ashraf registered a resounding triumph successful the Manjeswaram Assembly constituency, defeating the BJP’s K. Surendran by a borderline of 29,252 votes.

Mr. Ashraf secured 96,948 votes against Mr. Surendran’s 67,696, marking a melodramatic surge from his constrictive 754-vote triumph successful 2021. The emphatic borderline underlines the decisive consolidation of enactment successful favour of the UDF candidate.
