Hubballi-Dharwad Central MLA Mahesh Tenginakai has alleged that the State authorities had not released the wage grants to the Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation for the past six months.

Addressing presspersons successful Hubballi connected Tuesday, Mr. Tenginakai said that portion the wage grants had to beryllium paid by the State government, it was not happening. Consequently, the HDMC was paying the salaries of the employees by mobilising ₹7 crore from its interior resources, helium alleged.

Mr. Tenginakai besides alleged that the merchandise of ₹300 crore successful wage grants was pending and contempt repeated memoranda, the State authorities had been apathetic towards the issue.
