ISIS-AQIS terror links case: Vijayawada court grants five-day police custody of 6 accused

A tribunal connected Tuesday (April 7, 2026), granted 5 days’ constabulary custody of six accused arrested connected a complaint of maintaining contacts with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and al-Qaeda successful the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS), a constabulary serviceman told The Hindu. The custody is from April 9 to 13.

The Two Town constabulary of the NTR Commissionerate had successful March arrested 12 persons, including a minor, for allegedly having links with the ISIS and al-Qaeda successful the AQIS.
