Conservancy workers of Thiru.Vi.Ka. Nagar and Royapuram Zones, who are protesting since August 1, said they would not resume duties until Chief Minister M.K. Stalin held talks connected privatisation of coagulated discarded management.
The workers, formerly nether the National Urban Livelihoods Mission with the Greater Chennai Corporation, and led by Uzhaippor Uriamai Iyakkam, said the protestation would continue.
Association caput K. Bharathi said that 4 women workers had entered the seventh time of a hunger onslaught that began connected November 17 and it would proceed till the Chief Minister addresses their grievances.
