Head constable accused of stealing cash suspended after FIR filed against him

A Head Constable attached to the metropolis cyber transgression constabulary presumption was suspended aft an FIR was filed against him for allegedly stealing ₹11 lakh currency and different valuables from a car belonging to a suspect.

The Vidhana Soudha constabulary person registered an FIR against Zabeeullah Gadiyal based connected the ailment filed by the inspector of the cyber transgression station.

Zabeeullah, on with his colleague, had seized the car belonging to the fishy astatine Devanahalli connected December 13 and was brought to the presumption for inquiry. He allegedly aboriginal stole the container containing currency and different valuables.

The suspect, who aboriginal secured anticipatory bail, appeared earlier the constabulary and, upon checking his seized car, recovered the currency container missing.

Following the complaint, the constabulary recovered the currency and charged Zabeeullah with theft and transgression breach of trust.
