The State authorities has prepared proposals to proviso h2o from J. Chokka Rao Devadula Lift Irrigation Scheme (DLIS) and Sriramsagar Project (SRSP) to Suryapet district, peculiarly Tungaturthy constituency, with an estimated outgo of ₹1,000 crore, Minister for Irrigation and Civil Supplies N. Uttam Kumar Reddy announced astatine Suryapet connected Monday.

On the advancement of works, helium said 1,663 km magnitude of canals were already excavated retired of 2,430 km and 670 km magnitude of pipelines were laid retired of 703 km. Lining of canals was besides completed for 800 km.
