Governor congratulates Sangeet Natak Akademi awardee Gummadi Gopalakrishna

Governor S. Abdul Nazeer has congratulated Andhra Pradesh Nataka Akademi Chairman Gummadi Gopalakrishna for winning the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi Award successful the acting class for his publication to Padya Natakam (Telugu verse play form).

In a merchandise issued from Lok Bhavan connected Friday, the Governor said Mr. Gopalakrishna is an exponent of Padya Natakam and that the grant is simply a designation of his efforts towards the promotion and preservation of the classical theatrical tradition.
