In what appears to beryllium a slapdash exercise, Bengaluru’s corporations are issuing individuality cards to thoroughfare vendors with discrepancies successful details, raising fears of amerciable eviction and cancellation of thoroughfare vending licences.

The cards issued to vendors transportation incorrect vending portion addresses, incorrect photographs, and different errors. They are besides covered with stickers bearing the sanction of the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA), concealing the sanction of the erstwhile Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) printed connected cards, which vendors said could peel disconnected and render the cards invalid.
