The Andhra Pradesh authorities has operationalised its Sustainable Electric Mobility Policy (4.0) 2024-29 by notifying 5 “Model E-Mobility Cities,” marking a important propulsion towards cleanable and technology-driven municipality transport systems.
The Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) Department issued G.O.Rt.No.499, approving an operational model and strategical roadmap for implementation crossed Urban Local Bodies (ULBs). The selected cities — Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Nellore and Tirupati — correspond 5 administrative regions of the State.
