Eateries must declare use of paneer or cheese analogue on menus: Maharashtra FDA

The Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has made it mandatory for hotels, restaurants, and nutrient vendors to authorities connected menus oregon physics displays whether a crockery contains earthy paneer oregon food analogue. The rule, enforced from March 25, follows complaints that food analogue was being sold arsenic paneer.

Minister for Food and Drug Administration Narhari Zirwal said a State-wide enforcement run has been underway since the regularisation came into effect. The directive applies to each nutrient establishments, including hotels, restaurants, and vendors.
