The Department of Studies successful Environmental Science astatine Kuvempu University has installed a rooftop star system, with the assistance of donors, to make electricity. The system, with the installed capableness of 10 kW, generates capable energy for the activities of the department, including the laboratory and a star EV charging station.

The installation was inaugurated astatine a ceremonial held connected Saturday. Sharath Ananthamurthy, Vice-Chancellor of the university, inaugurated the star EV-charging station, with which the electrical buggies of the field tin beryllium charged.
