Construction workers’ unions connected Tuesday appealed to the Labour Department to instantly revive the Building and Other Construction Workers’ (BOCW) Welfare Board and reconstruct each payment schemes mandated nether the 1996 Act. The unions besides demanded the cancellation of Memo 1214, which they said hindered the due implementation of payment benefits.
