Awareness sessions on POSH held at Vizag school

Two consciousness sessions connected POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment astatine Workplace) were conducted for the teaching and non-teaching unit of Silver Oaks International School, Kommadi campus, connected Thursday.

The sessions were conducted by Seema Sikri, Associate Director of Visakhapatnam City Security Council (VCSC).

The sessions covered cardinal aspects of the POSH Act and guidelines, including enactment and relation of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC), knowing physical, mental, and non-verbal harassment, reporting mechanisms and grievance redressal procedures, and treatment of applicable lawsuit studies to heighten applicable understanding.

The participants were engaged passim the sessions interacting and contributing to the discussions with large enthusiasm.
