Central officials visit Auroville to study sustainable development, digital currency innovation, and integral education model

A squad of Central officials was successful Auroville precocious to sermon sustainable development, integer currency innovation, and the cosmopolitan township’s integral acquisition model.

The delegation, included Ravi Shankar, Joint Secretary, Department of Food and Public Distribution, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Vibha Chahal, Department Director, RB Meena, Divisional Manager and V. K. Naik, Manager, Food Corporation of India, Puducherry, a property enactment said.

The sojourn follows consultations initiated by Mr. Ravi Shankar with the Government of Puducherry connected strengthening ties betwixt Central administrative bodies and the Auroville project.

During the visit, Jayanti S. Ravi, Secretary of the Auroville Foundation, virtually interacted with the officials and noted that Auroville was exploring the improvement of a localised integer fiscal strategy aligned with the principles of the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) to streamline the township’s unsocial economy.

Earlier, G. Seetharaman, Officer connected Special Duty (OSD), briefed the delegation connected the ongoing improvement projects, the spiritual imaginativeness of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother, and aspects of the Auroville Master Plan.
