Budget released for mid-day meal scheme in State

By clearing the outstanding bills to assorted stakeholders upto April 2025, and June and July 2025, the State authorities has released the fund for PM Poshan, formerly mid-day repast scheme.

As per the proceedings of the School Education Department dated October 15, ₹28,43,76,000 is sanctioned for expenditure nether cooking costs for classes 9 and 10.

Separately, ₹25,64,91,000 was sanctioned for expenditure towards ovum costs for classes 1 to 8, for upto April 2025, and June and July 2025.
