Assam is heading for elections to its Legislative Assembly. The conflict for the 126 constituency seats is heating up, with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led NDA confederation aiming to unafraid a historical 3rd consecutive triumph successful the northeastern State.

Keshab Mahanta

Dr. Ranoj Pegu

Ashok Singhal 

Mr. Singhal is the Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Irrigation and won by a borderline of 35,070 votes from Dhekiajuli. 

Jogen Mohan 

Mr. Mohan is Assam’s Minister of Hill Areas development, transport, and cooperation. He won by a borderline of 14,034 votes from Mahmara.

Bimal Borah 

Bimal Borah is Assam’s Minister of Industries, Commerce and Public Enterprise. He won by an electoral borderline of 28,325 votes.

Jayanta Malla Baruah 

Jayanta Baruah is the State’s Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs. He won by an electoral borderline of 49,457 votes from Nalbari.

Urkhao Gwra Brahma 

Urkhao Brahma is Assam’s Minister of Handloom, Textiles and Sericulture. He won by an electoral borderline of 26,379 votes from the Chapaguri constituency. 

Nandita Gorlosa

Nandita Gorlosa is the state’s Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare and Welfare of Minorities. She won by a borderline of 18,598 votes from Haflong.

Prasanta Phukan 

Mr. Phukan is Assam’s Minister of Power, Skill and Employment and won by a borderline of 38,005 votes from Dibrugarh. 

Kaushik Rai 

Mr. Rai is Assam’s Minister of Food and Civil Supplies, Mines and Barak Valley development. He won by a borderline of 12,700 votes from Lakhipur successful the 2021 elections.

Krishnendu Paul 

Krishnendu Paul is Assam’s Minister of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries and won by a borderline of 4,142 votes from Patharkandi.

Rupesh Gowala 

Rupesh Gowala is the state’s Minister of Labour Welfare and Tea Tribes Welfare and won by an electoral borderline of 8,264 votes from Doom Dooma. 

Charan Boro 

Charan Boro is Assam’s Minister of Welfare of Bodoland and won by a borderline of 16,071 votes from Majbat.
