Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was awarded the prestigious International Four Freedoms Award astatine a ceremonial connected Thursday (April 16, 2026) for his and his nation's courageousness and resilience successful resisting the full-scale penetration launched much than 4 years agone by Russia.

The honour was bestowed by the Roosevelt Foundation, which was created successful 1982 to contiguous awards honouring the Four Freedoms outlined by U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt successful his 1941 State of the Union code — state of code and expression, state of worship, state from privation and state from fear.
