The Yenagi Balappa Memorial Theatre Festival was successfully celebrated successful Belagavi for 3 days from November 7.

Members of Ranga Aradhana Cultural organisation successful Saundatti and Ranga Sampada performed 3 plays.

They felicitated elder theatre personalities and paid respects to novelist S. L. Bhyrappa, theatre artists Yashwant Sardeshpande, Raju Talikoti, D. Hanumakka and Annapurna Ashoka Malagali.

Ranga Sampada members performed Nakshatra Yatrikaru astatine the Kannada Bhavan. It was written by Sandhya S. and directed by Savita Bhyrappa.

The plays Nelamugilu and Halu Battaladolagina Palu, by Zakir Nadaf, were presented by Ranga Aradhana.

Senior writers and theatre personalities were felicitated. The festival was organized successful collaboration with the Union Ministry of Culture, the Department of Kannada and Culture, Bengaluru, Ranga Shristi and Kannada Bhavan, Belagavi, said a release.
