Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, Deputy General Secretary of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), connected Sunday (April 19, 2026) alleged that the projected Women’s Reservation Bill was being utilized arsenic a governmental instrumentality to dilute representation, peculiarly of confederate States.

Campaigning for M. H. Jawahirullah, campaigner of the DMK-led confederation from Nagapattinam, she addressed voters adjacent Nellukadai Mariamman Temple and sought enactment for the alliance.
