Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathyamangalam, hosted the expansive finale of the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025 – Hardware Edition, from December 8 to 12.
Twenty finalist teams comprising 119 students and 18 mentors from 9 States addressed themes successful renewable and sustainable energy, catastrophe management, proscription and logistics, and astute education. Winning teams crossed the 4 themes were awarded ₹1.5 lakh each for their innovative and scalable solutions. At the prize organisation ceremonial held connected the assemblage premises connected Friday, institute president S.V. Balasubramaniam, main guests industrialist Sri Ravi Sam and Sundar Muruganandhan, Managing Director of Versa Drives Private Limited, on with different dignitaries, including Sarim Moin from the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell and SIH Nodal Centre Heads Udyan Maurya and Shyamal Kishore, presented the awards to the winners.
