The AIADMK-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) successful Tamil Nadu is hoping to win successful its 3rd effort astatine the hustings, having failed successful the 2019 Lok Sabha and 2021 Assembly elections. In 2019, the NDA won lone one Lok Sabha constituency (Theni). Two years later, it secured 75 seats, losing powerfulness to the DMK after ruling the State for 10 consecutive years.

Almost 9 months aft the AIADMK and the BJP revived their ties, the PMK was backmost successful the NDA in January this year. Later that month, a melodramatic improvement unfolded: the Amma Makkal Munnetra  Kazhagam (AMMK), led by T.T.V. Dhinakaran, patched up with the  AIADMK and became a constituent of the NDA again. Smaller parties specified arsenic the Tamil Maanila Congress (Moopanar), the Indhiya  Jananayaga Katchi, the Tamizhaga Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam, the New Justice Party, and the Puratchi Bharatham are the different members of the NDA.
