“The West Bengal Board's Class X results were declared connected Friday (May 8, 2026), with 86.83% of the full 9.71 lakh candidates passing the examination,” an authoritative said.

“In past year's Madhyamik Pariksha, 86.56% of the 9.84 lakh students were declared successful,” West Bengal Board of Secondary Education president, Ramanuj Ganguly said.

“This year's introspection was held from February 2 to February 12 astatine much than 2,600 centres crossed the State,” helium said.

Abhirup Bhadra of Sarada Vidyamandir successful Uttar Dinajpur territory bagged the archetypal rank, securing 698 of 700 marks. Priyotosh Mukhopadhyay of Sarojinidevi Saraswati Sishu Mandir successful Birbhum was declared 2nd with 696 marks. The 3rd fertile was shared by 3 students. A full of 131 students secured the apical 10 ranks, of whom 28 were girls.

Kalimpong recorded the highest percent astatine 95.01%, followed by Purba Medinipur astatine 94.02% and Kolkata astatine 92.31%.
