Water level in Mullaperiyar dam stands at 137.40 feet

Water level successful Mullaperiyar dam connected Monday stood astatine 137.40 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 551 cusecs and a discharge of 1,822 cusecs. The level successful Vaigai dam was 68.54 ft. (the maximum level is 71 ft.) with an inflow of 1,508 cusecs and a discharge of 3,499 cusecs. Combined retention successful Periyar recognition was 10,042.65 mcft.
