Water level in Mullaperiyar dam stands at 134 feet

Water level successful Mullaperiyar dam connected Sunday stood astatine 134 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 856 cusecs and a discharge of 400 cusecs. The level successful Vaigai dam was 66.50 ft. (the maximum level is 71 ft.) with an inflow of 1,253 cusecs and a discharge of 2,299 cusecs. Combined retention successful Periyar recognition was 9,932.15 mcft.
