Water level successful Mullaperiyar dam connected Thursday stood astatine 131.15 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 885 cusecs and a discharge of 1,000 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the level was 64.93 ft. (the maximum level is 71 ft.) with an inflow of 850 cusecs and a discharge of 2,069 cusecs. Combined retention successful Periyar recognition was 8,608.87 mcft.
