Water level successful Mullaperiyar dam connected Tuesday stood astatine 130.40 feet (the permissible level is 142 ft) with an inflow of 612 cusecs and a discharge of 1,000 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the level stood astatine 63.48 feet (the maximum level is 71 ft) with an inflow of 927 cusecs and a discharge of 1,199 cusecs. Combined retention successful Periyar recognition was 8,116.68 mcft.
