Water level in Mullaperiyar dam stands at 128.90 feet

Water level successful Mullaperiyar dam connected Friday stood astatine 128.90 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 267 cusecs and a discharge of 1,000 cusecs. The level successful Vaigai dam was 48.72 ft. (the maximum level is 71 ft.) with an inflow of 876 cusecs and a discharge of 69 cusecs. Combined retention successful Periyar recognition was 5,961.35 mcft.
