Water level successful Mullaperiyar dam connected Wednesday stood astatine 120.85 feet (permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 139 cusecs and a discharge of 700 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the level stood astatine 45.11 ft. (maximum level is 71 ft.) with an inflow of 364 cusecs and a discharge of 869 cusecs. Combined retention successful Periyar recognition was 3,890.77 mcft.
