The Vuyyuru Town constabulary prevented an online fraud involving a integer apprehension of a retired teacher and his wife.
A fraudster, who introduced himself arsenic Mumbai Crime Branch SP, made a video telephone to a retired teacher and his woman connected Thursday. The impersonator told them that ₹25 lakh had been laundered utilizing the elder citizen’s slope relationship and Aadhaar card.
“The caller claimed that the Supreme Court had issued an apprehension warrant against the retired teacher,” Vuyyuru Town Circle Inspector T. V. Rama Rao said connected Friday.
