Joint Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Swachh Bharat Mission, Rupa Mishra inspected the operations of the Bio-CNG (biogas) and biomining plants astatine the Kapuluppada dumping gait nether Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) limits connected Thursday. CEO of Vizag Bio Energy Fuel Pvt. Ltd, K.S. Raju informed that the works receives 30 tonnes of rootlike and nutrient discarded regular and produces astir 1,000 kg of Bio-CNG (Compressed Natural Gas). He added that 30,000 litres of Liquid Fermented Organic Manure (LFOM) is produced regular and supplied to farmers and GVMC to make the municipality gardens. Additionally, astir 4 tonnes of coagulated manure is generated regular and supplied to farmers for integrated farming. He further informed that Phosphorus Rich Organic Manure (PROM) is being developed connected a proceedings ground for marketplace release.
