Visakhapatnam teachers stage protest demanding Pay Revision Commission, interim relief

Hundreds of teachers affiliated with the Progressive Recognised Teachers’ Union (PRTU-A.P) staged a protestation astatine the GVMC Gandhi Statue present connected Tuesday (April 21, 2026), seeking solution of their pending demands.

Addressing the protesters, PRTU Visakhapatnam territory president M. Srinivasa Rao said the teachers’ problems had remained unresolved 2 years aft the conjugation authorities came to power.
