Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department students of BLDEA VP Dr. P.G. Halakatti College of Engineering and Technology person designed and developed a Solar-Wind Hybrid Smart EV Charging Station.
This inaugural promotes sustainable and eco-friendly vigor connected campus. The task was undertaken nether the guidance of professors Prashant Kadi and Srirang Kulkarni. It is funded nether NAIN 2.0 of the State government.
It uses renewable vigor sources similar star and upwind power. The infrastructure utilized for the task generates 15-16 units of powerfulness per day.
This initiative, which has a powerfulness of 3.5 kW, has the capableness to complaint three-four two-wheelers per day.
“Our students and lecturers tin usage this installation to complaint their electrical vehicles. The main information for this is to forestall aerial contamination and dilatory down clime change,” said Prof. Kadi.
This task has been taken up by a squad of students, including Aishwarya R. Sagar, Sagar U. Poojary, Shivaraj Basavaprabhu and Vidya Mallikarjuna Math.
Registrar, BLDE (DU), R.V. Kulkarni inaugurated the EV Charging Station. He appreciated the achievements of the module and students successful sustainable vigor initiatives. The task is meant for the payment of the public. He encouraged the students to instrumentality it to the adjacent level.
