The Karnataka Pragathi Para Beedhi Vyaparigala Sangha has opposed the projected argumentation by the State authorities and the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) to prohibition thoroughfare vending on arterial and sub-arterial roads successful the city, terming it illegal, unconstitutional, and detrimental to the livelihoods of the municipality poor. The relation warned that protests would begin if the connection is not withdrawn. 

This comes a time aft Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, during a pre-GBA budget meeting on Friday (March 20), said a footpath argumentation volition be introduced. As portion of the policy, thoroughfare vendors are expected to beryllium barred from doing commercialized activities on arterial and sub-arterial roads.
