The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) has unearthed large-scale corruption and biology exploitation done its Statewide ‘Operation Earth Guard’ that focussed connected the nexus betwixt authorities officials and the ‘soil mafia.’
As galore arsenic 14 officials from the Mining and Geology section and section self-government institutions were caught having received ₹4,69,800 successful bribes from middlemen. The raids covering 72 offices crossed Kerala, including each 14 territory mining and geology offices, exposed wide demolition of hills wherever ungraded was removed without requisite permits.
